Handpicked and individually tested for optimal sweetness during harvest, our fully matured piñas are cooked to perfection, then crushed via roller mill for their sweet juices. After a natural open fermentation lasting between six and eight days, the juice is twice-distilled and transferred to stainless steel vats for fifteen days to rest.

Tasting Notes

Look: Crystalline with silver sparkles; clean and transparent.

Nose: Notes of cooked agave, herbal aroma, and green apple.

Following the perfected process used to create Atanasio Blanco, Atanasio Reposado is matured in re-charred, gently used American white oak whiskey barrels for up to five months to achieve a beautiful balance between the agave-forward origins of tequila and the first characteristic notes of maturation.

Tasting Notes

Look: Coppery and slightly golden.

Nose: Persistent smell of agave, light vanilla and dried fruits.

Presence of walnuts.

Mouth: The agave is kept almost on par with the wood. Light

notes of vanilla and citrus in the aftertaste.
